Beauty Reviews: My Favorite Organic, Vegan & Cruelty-Free Skincare Brands

Hello, everyone. I seriously can't believe it's October already. Bring out the sweaters and fall scented candles, please! I love October because it's finally chilly outside and I can wear all my cute scarves again. And what better month to start a new series to this blog. I'm calling it the Beauty Series. It will have beauty reviews, favorite skincare/beauty products etc. Maybe even a makeup tutorial...
Anyways, today's post is all about my favorite Organic, Vegan, and Cruelty-Free (OVCF) skincare brands. I've never been one to only buy products that are "Vegan/Cruelty-Free" but when I was looking through what I own skincare wise, all the products fell into that category which made me quite pleased actually. I love all natural, organic skincare products and having them also be Vegan and Cruelty-Free was a big plus. So here are my Top 3 favorite Organic, Vegan, and Cruelty-Free Beauty Brands. This post is in collaboration with Velvet Organics and Soaps 4 Hope. So let's begin!

Velvet Organics
I discovered this brand through a friend of mine when I was visiting her during Spring Break earlier this year. I tried the Moisturizing Rose Mask and instantly fell in love with it. So I knew that somehow I had to be an influencer of this brand. I contacted the company in August and they were more than happy to collaborate with me on this post. I, of course, had to buy the Moisturizing Rose Mask. This product is formulated with vitamin C, Rose Kaolin clay as well as Australian Pink Pastel clay to help retain moisture. It also firms and tones the skin. This mask is also really beneficial for those with sensitive skin, like myself. Aside from that, what I like about this mask is how the mask comes in a powder form which is very cost friendly and innovative. I say cost friendly because you're not going to have to cut open a tube to get all the leftover product out like you'd have to do with most masks. You'll end up using every last bit of it which means it's totally worth the $22.99. It's also very innovative that it comes in a powder form rather than a paste already.
All you have to do is add a few drops of water to 1tsp of the powder until it becomes a paste-like consistency. Then you put it all over your face either with a brush or your fingers and wait 5 minutes before rinsing it off. Because it takes so little time to try, this product is also a must for girls who are always on the go or as a little skincare pick-me-up between flights, because of how drying being in a plane can be to our skin.

As an influencer of this brand, I was also able to get you all a promo code to use on your purchase. All you do is type in TARAMASK at checkout and you'll get 10% off your order!

Soaps 4 Hope
I discovered this brand at the Farmers Market the Kaiser Hospital on N. First Street in Fresno, CA when I was visiting that area during the summer holidays. The creator and owner, Shelly, was very bubbly and kind and I loved chatting with her about her company as well as my blog. What I love most about this company is that 100% of the profits go to help women in impoverished countries. I think this is really admirable of Shelly to do.
I so far I have bought three different products from her and will definitely be buying more in the future. So far, I've gotten the Lavender Lotion ($12.14), Charcoal Body & Face Soap ($6.80), as well as a Rose Bath Bomb ($4.49) which I am saving for a special occasion.
I adore the Lavender Lotion because it's all natural and it doesn't make my skin sting after putting it on, like some lotions I've used do. The Charcoal Body & Face soap is especially wonderful because it also doubles as a face mask and it draws out impurities from the skin which will help clear skin, and aids in treating Eczema. The Rose bath bomb smells absolutely divine. The reason why I'm saving it is because I always like having some sort of "treat" for myself that might make a crappy day, end on a good note. I am really looking forward to using this product even though I haven't yet.
So if you're ever in the Fresno area definitely go check out the Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 8am - 1:30pm (March - Nov) and 9am - 1:30pm (Dec - Feb).

I have been a huge Origins fan since last year. I heard about them from Ingrid Nilsen in one of her Youtube Views. I also know that Carrie Rad uses this brand too and loves it. Whenever I'm in the area where my local Origins Store is located, I have to go in. All the employees there know me by name now and love it when I stop by, even when it's just to say hi. I adore all of the women who work there. They are so kind and supportive and just amazing people in general.
While this brand is definitely pricey, it is totally worth every penny you spend. Over the course of quite a few months, most of my skincare regime is now made up of Origins products. My absolute favorite products are from the Original Skin (or Quarter Life Crisis) line. While I may not be in my mid-twenties, who says I can't take really good care of my skin now to avoid a possible Quarter Life Crisis when I am in my mid-twenties? I absolutely adore the Original Skin Renewal Serum with Willow Herb. I have gone through at least three bottles of it since I started using this brand. In the same line I also really love the Original Skin Rose Clay Mask. It's exfoliating at the same time it makes my skin glow. And, as odd as this may sound, it has helped a lot with my post-eyebrow waxing breakouts. One of my friends, who's a licensed esthetician told me that any clay mask can help with breakouts due to eyebrow waxing. So I tried it along with using a Salicylic Acid primer during the mornings and Origins Super Spot Remover at night. Within a week, my skin was clear again. So if you breakout from eyebrow waxings, I highly recommend this mask.
Other products from this line I've used are the Cheeks & Balances Foaming Face Wash which I liked but it was a little too drying on my skin so I swapped to the A Perfect World Antioxidant cleanser with White Tea which I absolutely adore. I also use the Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturizer as well as the Ginzing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff. I just recently got the Ginzing Peel Off Mask which I absolutely adore as well.
As for masks by Origins, I also have the By All Greens Cleansing Mask, Sooth Your Senses Mask, Ginsing Peel-off Mask and the Ginzing Brightening Day Mask. (As you can tell, I love face masks. In total, I have 5 Origins Masks. I think this goes to show how obsessed I am with this company).

There you have it. My top three favorite Organic, Vegan, and Cruelty-Free Skincare Brands. Huge thanks to Soap 4 Hope and Velvet Organics for collaborating with me on this post.
